Accademia Italiana’s exhibit from April 9 o 24
Students of the Accademia Italiana will exhibit their works this month at the Bellini Palace in Lungarno Soderini and at the Obihall arena in Via Fabrizio De Andrè. While the Obihall will once again host the year-end fashion show on April 21, students of Interior, Product, Graphic Design and Photography will showcase their works at the Bellini Palace.
The theme of this year is “Creative Journeys,” and it has been liberally interpreted by the students of Design and Photography. Matching with the theme, white sails in heaving fabric, created by the curator of the exhibit Vincenzo Rocco, will exalt the design projects lining the halls of the gallery on the ground floor of Palazzo Bellini.
Graphic Design students, coordinated by Professor Walter Conti, have prepared a poster to graphically illustrate the Creative Journey and have advertising design projects that include CD covers, gadgets, business cards, t-shirts, and even a shopping bag to present as a gift to clients. Photography students’ works range from sport photos of synchronized swimming taken underwater to an introspective vision of a Firemen above and beyond their duty, among many others. Students will also present their artistic videos.
