Florence held their semi- annual fashion week titled, Pitti Immagine. The events took place from Tuesday, 16 June to Friday, 19 June and featured men’s, women’s, and children’s fashion encompassing ‘color’. The week is host to high end designers such as Jeffrey Campbell, Alto Milano, Maison39, Peter Pilotto, and Valentino.

The highly anticipated week has been happening since the early 1950’s and has taken place in a plethora of locations around Florence, Italy since. Besides being in awe at the impeccably dressed men and women sauntering down the streets, everyone in Florence looks their best throughout these days. From Balenciaga to Hermes to Chanel, everyone is dressed to the nine’s. There were an abundance of events that took place in a handful of venues around Florence including in the Mercato Centrale, and most were invitation only.

If you love the runway, you may have stumbled into one of the eight fashion shows that took place from Tuesday to Thursday that featured clothes from Moschino and many more. Celebrities such as A$AP Rocky and Katy Perry were even spotted in the audience.

Florence Fashion Week brought thousands to the city who were anxious to experience the extravaganza. The city was packed with influential people and restaurants, gelaterias, and bars were filled with color infused fashion. This was a week to own it and if ever so fortunate, be welcomed again next year.
