Lucca Summer Festival Returns

The 18th annual Lucca Summer Festival is back starting July 1 and lasting throughout the entire month. The festival, which takes places inside the city walls of Lucca at the Piazza Napoleone, consists of 13 concerts by musicians of different genres.

This edition is rich of important names. Bob Dylan will be starting off the festival on July 1. Dylan will also perform at the festival Aria di Friuli Venezia Giulia in San Daniele del Friuli on June 27; then at the Baths of Caracalla in Rome two days after. He will then head to the Lucca to kickstart the Summer Festival on July 1 and then to Turin the day after to perform at the Pala Alpitour. This will be the first time that Dylan will be performing at the Lucca Summer Festival since the premiere of the festival in 1998, where he also was the starting act.

Other artists that will perform at this edition include John Legend (July 5), The Script (July 9), Billy Idol (July 10), Elton John (July 11), Lenny Kravitz (July 26). Rapper, Snoop Dogg will be concluding the festival with a performance on July 28.
