Italy’s top wine event Merano Wine Festival is returning for its 24th edition from Nov. 5 to 10 in the northern Italian city of Merano. The event showcases the best of Italian and international foods and wines.
As last year, the Festival will open in the elegant Pavillon des Fleurs in the Merano Kurhaus with bio&dynamica, where 50 specially chosen producers will present their certified biological and/or organic wines.
As per tradition, wine producers from Italy and all over the world will be setting up their stands in the Merano Kurhaus. From 5 to the 7 attenders of the festival will have the possibility to taste more than 700 different Italian wines and the wines of 150 producers from different countries including France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Serbia, Portugal, Chile, California, Argentina and South Africa.
In the Culinaria, another section of the Festival taking place in a tent directly connected to the Meran Kurhaus, about 100 master craftsmen and small producers will be presenting their gastronomic delights. Products range from aceto balsamico to olive oil, from various cheeses to sausages, from jams to sauces, from sweets to desserts, from coffee to chocolate and much more.
