Starting from March 1, the ticket for the Uffizi Gallery Museum complex will also allow entrance to the Archaeological Museum.
The announcement of the 5-year renewable agreement between the two museums came last month as part of a plan for the enhancement of the Florence Archaeological Museum, which also includes the devolution of 2,5% of the annual Uffizi ticket revenue to the Archaeological Museum as a budget for restorations, productions and exhibitions.
The agreement also affects the Uffizi annual subscription, which costs 50 Euro and includes entrance to the Uffizi, the Pitti Palace, the Boboli Gardens.
The deal also provides for new scientific collaborations such as researches, conferences, lessons, workshops, and publications.
Archaeological exhibitions at the Uffizi will also be planned as part of the project.
